Coronavirus Safety Measures

Here are some of the precautionary coronavirus safety measures we are taking to minimize risk to our clients, agents, and property owners in Indianapolis:

All of our inspectors have completed the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors’ (InterNACHI) Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Guidelines for Home Inspectors Course and will adhere to their recommended safety guidelines and standards.

We have Sentrilock access cards, so for homes secured on a Sentrilock, the agent does not need to be present to grant access.

We have always encouraged home buyers to be present for all (or part) of the home inspection and to walk through the property with us. At this time and following the recommendations of both InterNACHI and the CDC, we do ask that if you are present during the inspection, that you wear a face mask, maintain your distance (minimum of 6’) from your inspector and limit those in attendance to only those pertinent to the transaction for safety reasons and as not to distract your home inspector.

We can conduct virtual meetings with clients and agents upon request. We have always been and will continue to be available for phone calls with clients to discuss findings, and we can also live-chat with them via video either at the home and/or after issuing our written report.

We take all of the necessary precautions when it comes to protecting our clients as well as the inspection property. This includes wearing masks, shoe covers inside the home and gloves/additional PPE gear when necessary.

We practice regular hand washing and/or use alcohol-based hand rubs when a washing station is unavailable. We always wash our hands when they are visibly soiled during a home inspection and after removing any PPE.

Our home inspection agreement is delivered to clients via email and they can easily submit their assent via email. Likewise, payments can be handled conveniently and securely as well via our numerous electronic payment options.

Our home inspection reports are delivered to clients electronically via email.
